Mission

The mission of the Nutmeg Volunteer Junior Ancient Fife and Drum Corps is to provide musical and historical opportunities for the youth of Groton, CT and the surrounding towns.

Alumni Corner

The Nutmeg Volunteer Junior Ancient Fife and Drum Corps travels, on average, about 3,500 miles and plays over 45 performances annually. We have been as far North as Maine and Canada, as far West as Michigan, and as far South as Florida. As the second oldest junior fife and drum corps in the United States, Nutmeg is proud to continue such a great tradition.
